Entertaining game, but Mustangs should have won it. A three minute spell where S&G had a 5 on 3 let them back into it and we struggled to score after that, though we peppered the goalie with shots we couldnt find the net.
Nettie would like to have two of the goals back, one will be giving him nightmares for a while.

Good to see Jamie Smith entertaining as always!

Also just got back from the game.

Very entertaining and probably more fun to watch than than Haringay getting destroyed.

I think Grouty would want at least two of the goals back.

Thought Mustangs dominated throughout, probably 70 - 30 possession split.

Glad we got the draw in the end, although we deserved all the points.

Will be interesting to see what the penalties were at the end, (please can someone post them) the ref was stood next to me and saw their goalie fully kick one of our players in the back of legs, he saw it and I will be disgusted if he does not call it.

Thought the ref had a good game and let a lot go, but I was under the impression that if a players helmet is knocked off and they replace it, it is a penalty for illegal equipment????? or has it changed?

Good to see Solent with a competitive team and some older guys getting it done (sorry Laish and james lol)

Thanks Tim.

To echo Rats' request above, will you be able to let us know what penalties resulted from the bench clearance?

Nothing on the official gamesheet and no mention on that of a referee's report either, although he did say he would submit one.

Not sure it could be classed as a bench clearance, though, as everyone had gone onto the ice for the end of the game - expecting handshakes not headbuts Wink
