Mustangs 6 - 6 Slough
Looks as if it could have been a good one.
Anybody care to comment on the game? |

Yeah great game to watch, Slough had one player who I would be amazed if he didn't get 6 points!!! Take him away and Slough would be nothing.
Kozic was given to much space in the first period and ran the show, after that we got close to him and in his face and he disappeared.
Very good team performance to come back.
Matt USA made his league debut in goal and did really well. Faced 61 shots and IMO would only want 3 of the goals back. I think he may have done enough for the number 1 spot in the next game!!! Well done mate _________________ coming back stronger!!!!!! |

Zoran is also an ex-Ivy League player AND he had a stint at the London Racers in the EIHL days.
Plus he's a professional banker............... |

LOL, seriously though, I think the other two netminders should be concerned after Matt's performance, good headache for the coach to have. _________________ coming back stronger!!!!!! |

True, he did play for the Racers in the EIHL (10 games) but I think that had more to do with partly funding the team than his ability. He mostly played for Haringey in EPL/ENL.
JJ McGrath also played for the Racers and Basingstoke (when they were in the EIHL), and on Sunday he played for Romford against us. Did anybody notice him?
There are several current ENL players who played for the Racers: R Hargreaves, Cicarello, van der Velden (Bristol); Cornish, Hopkins (I o W), Dobson (ex I o W); Pope (Cardiff).
There are quite a few more in EPL.
Having said all that, Kozic was a good player in a struggling Haringey EPL team the season we won the EPL, and after that he put up good numbers for the EPL Jetst. It looks from his stats that he's still got it. |

Racers probably not the best example in the world As for JJ, he permanently kept the bench warm. I recall him getting a shift once but not much more! |
