You're very welcome Mike.

I've not been up there much for the past 3 seasons, family life and change of role at work. I'll be up for a few this season though. Missed this forum when it dwindled away, so hopefully there will be more returnees, and the club will use it for information and making announcements. I even miss the St Reatham lot coming on here with their one-sided comments (Chelmo on THF!!) lol.

With a high-scoring Import, the squad looks pretty good to me.

If used that will help with fitness in the 3rd and could make the difference between winning and losing....

Yes, you're right.

Does anyone remember the game against Basingstoke Buffalo a few years back when there were 44 players and 3 officials on the ice for the introductions?
I think it must have been in the 2007/08 season or possibly the year before.

Don C posting the same thing twice is a good way to get the count up Laughing

Adam looks very handy, and the squad is now close to full with 1 forward away from 4 lines. Three lines of D as well, just need a back up.

Season is close now, can't wait.

Looks good on paper, hope he looks as good on ice - and stays on the ice.

The main concern, though, is that he doesn't find Medway too unappealing (he's bound to find it unappealing, but I hope not too unappealing!), and settles in.

Also, I see from THF that Joonas Liimatainen has turned up for Oxford. THF said yesterday "Joonas will be taking in his first training session tonight."

So, will he be watching from the stands? Or has he brought his skates this time?

This guy should stand out, good pedigree. Agree, he needs to stay on the ice, but also good that he's tough and prepared to stand up for himself. His toughness will carry him through some of the cheap play that goes on in this league. Rather that than a free-scoring forward who can't take a hit. Young too, for how much he's experienced, so should have some wheels. I had a chuckle at Oxfords announcement too; can't see Simon Anderson putting up with any of his nonsense.

Hi All, haven`t posted for a couple of years and pleased to see that despite twitter and all that, the forum is still breathing.

Good to see that we are upping the force this year with Webster and the new import - a balanced team that should do well

Shame that Cardiff isn`t on the fixture list this year, always a good physical game and my favourite rink (After the Bowl that is)

I agreed with a previous post that perhaps an occasional game with a Northern Team will be worthwhile and knowing the fans, I am sure they will travel

Hopefully with the work Team Mo`s and the Kent Sports Trust are doing to raise the profile of the club in the community and through publicity, the footfall through the doors will increase and we as supporters should also be spreading the word that watching Ice Hockey is a good night out.

I trust the forum will gather pace and it would be great to see more posting from old and new contributors as the season rolls on

Agree about Cardiff dynofan, the boys from Wales always put on a good show and they know how to play a solid physical hockey game too.
