I think we must add Ian Pound - when he was playing for Solihull, also Braithwaite, Mark Williams plus the Romford Stickboy!

Definately!! Talking to Tim Smith, he had it with Williams too.

Did I add Bryan Swystun and Marc Damphousse? Oh, and Pracher....

I still remember that hit Mark Pallister (then of Telford) made on one of the Randall's (I think) over in the corner by the cafe- dirty!

Sharon Hopeless! Laughing

Surprised you didn't say Shaun McFaddeyn- he was great fun to wind up when he was in the penalty box!

Sorry, i missed fads - i was basing it on players that can actually skate, however he certainly belongs in the group. I'd forgotten about Pally doing the Randall, but he still made it in for beating Kenny Federko up at the tender age of 17-18..... during a challenge game against the GB Under 19's. Hmmmm, wonder why no-one jumped in to help....?? Laughing

Smithy took on Williams? Blimey not many, if any of last years squad would have fancied standing up to him. How did he get on??

As for Pracher.... I have just booed aloud in the office and everyone has given me a look like I am losing it! Laughing

Tim said he wasn't quite sure what was going on - it just happened... Said he did ok though.

Yeah, Paul Cast. What was that all about?? You expected it of Doyle, but not Casty. He wasn't the first to try getting through the net though - believe Bidner owns that right.

Paul Heavey,

You mean, our new GB U-20s coach? Off-topic and shameless name-dropping but I spoke to the previous one last night and by all accounts Heavey's got his work cut out.

Jamie Crapper

One of the more amusing pieces in the programme for the GMB "Nottingham" Panthers' 60th Anniversary Game was a picture of Mike Urquhart (sorry, dropping his name again) and some of his Panther team-mates, including the caption "Jamie Crapper (now Craiper)".

Warren Rost

Now, the hate has passed down the line a little to include one of his relatives (possibly his son, I'm not 100% sure), the simply delightful Chris Rost. To be fair though he probably IS an angel and people ARE only punishing him severely because his name is Rost.

sounds fair enough...

I will only moan at Chris Rost the moment he runs up to the ref every 30 seconds to challenge a call, and then take his team off the ice with 11 seconds left....
