Blame the U14s for the gate - they put their coach through that 5 times last season in checking practice (and he is not exactly small!!!) |

9 nil to mustangs, very good game to watch, team played very well, good to see some new boys on at the end.
I would have liked to seen one of the senior players going after the romford players when a few cheap hits were thrown against our younger players.
great performance. _________________ coming back stronger!!!!!! |

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't that put the Mustangs top of the lague, level with Romford on 17 but ahead on results between them????
Nice one fellas!!
So will the Dynamos have to use the other changing rooms twice next season |

Very good performance at both ends of the Ice. Wasn't really concerned about the result beforehand, but did expect a bit more from Romford and they had a full roster as far as I could see.
Amazing, they've got several young players who have played conference and England, the best Juniors on the Mustangs have never had a look in at conference, yet our U18's line scored a lovely tic-tac-toe goal all on their own. Funny old world innit
Good to see the inexperienced lads getting some shifts and doing fine.
MM - Forecheck, backcheck, paycheck, get in!!! I posted that he needed to be a bit more defensive and last night he was excellent and a top drawer goal. |

But doesn't Erskine Douglas, the Spitfires coach, have a lot to do with the SE conferences? Funny that...
Thought the Mustangs were really good last night and looked far superior to Romford in every aspect. |

Not only that, the DJ didn't play "Snooker Loopy" unlike at the U14's game on Saturday! |

Excellent game last evening. Whatever technical skills the Mustangs might lack (and they are improving) they more than compensate for with their enthusiasm. They never seem content to leave the puck skittling around, they chase it down relentlessly and are always a looking for the rebound around the net. They are very combative in play, which is very satisfying to watch. The team also exudes good team spirit, too. So, if you haven't been to see one of their home games you should take a look, they are proving to be very good value in the entertainment stakes and well worth the price of the entrance ticket . Their position in the league must be quite thought-provoking for some. More of the same, please. |
