good game to watch, plenty of action, plenty of random reffing though (10 minute misconduct for spraying the netminder immediately springs to mind, it was either that or run into him)

That was Rene - he made 2 big boobies! We had more sitting on our side of the rink in the penalty box than on our bench at one time! Well played though lads - and Ali nice to see that you can still have a quiet discussion with the ref about his decisions!

The Romford netminder swung his stick at Michal after the spraying and Michal was "displeased" Wink . I think that the ref objected to him showing his displeasure. Shame the ref didn't do anything about the stick-swinging first.

First ten minutes of the game was good for the Mustangs but then it fell apart and we didn't play team hockey for the rest of the first or much of the second. However, the boys really pulled it together in the 3rd and deserved the 4 points Smile

I will try to put together a stats table from all games at some point this week (and then try to work out the easiest way to display it. ).

i enjoyed the game, as said b4 there was more in the box than on the actual bench, the reffing was very poor and the assistants of an age of approx 12 seemed clueless to wat the rules arent and are, will say one thing about the mustangs they neva give up, the energy is never ending, the mix of experiance and youth is working, look forward 2 watching more games..
